Job Description

The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks and executing testing strategies for NETSOL's flagship financial and leasing software products. The role requires close collaboration with development and QA leadership to identify, track, and resolve application issues before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update test automation frameworks
• Write automation scripts and design quality test scenarios with appropriate test data
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results
• Identify application issues and collaborate with leadership on resolution
• Track software bugs found during automation testing and follow up until closed
• Pursue ongoing training in automation tools and best practices

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field (preferred)
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in software test automation
• Proficiency in JavaScript, VB Script, C#, or Python
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright
• Understanding of automation frameworks; CI/CD experience is an added advantage
• Solid understanding of databases and testing protocols
• Familiarity with white-box and black-box testing methods
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
